We are SICK!!
I am so tired of winter germs. We have had a stomach bug that keeps making the rounds through our family. If I have to clean up any more vomit I am moving to a new house without any children. It is some sort of 24 hour deal which wouldn't be too bad if we could all get it at once and just be done, but no, we get it one at a time and then cycle back through the ranks. If I sound a little bitter it is just that I have been the lucky candidate for the past 24 hours and am really tired of it all. Maybe mid-week I will write a more cheery uplifting post.

Oh, Gravity!
JT is known for his unusual way of expressing himself and his unique perspective. Sometimes he truly cracks me up. This past Wednesday we went skiing together in the morning. He is getting so good on the beginning green runs I decided to take him down an intermediate blue run. He did so well and didn't fall once. He was really proud of his accomplishment and so was I. We decided to do one final run and at the very end JT just fell over. Out of frustration, he looked up at the sky and said, "Oh Gravity, why do you do this to me?"

Video of JT skiing at Sundance
Okay, I obviously do not know what I am doing since Lexie is sideways on her video debut. I hope this will actually be right -- JT and I have been ski buddies this winter and having a really good time.

A new family member
I broke down and bought the kids a pet. I went to the Pet Store to buy a hermit crab and came home with a furry guinea pig. Zachary is to blame because he was so sweet when he was holding it. When I asked which pet he would like I melted when he wanted the little guy that he had held. We think it is a girl and we have tentatively named it "Jumper". It is pretty jumpy but is starting to calm down a little. The kids love feeding it carrots and cilantro.
